Learn more about OnSolve (CodeRED), the County’s new alert system, through these most asked questions
In an effort to provide the most efficient and reliable emergency notifications quickly, Iredell County Public Safety Center has replaced HyperReach with the platform OnSolve (CodeRED).
Implemented on February 17, 2025, CodeRED allows County communications staff to inform the public of potential or imminent danger that would lead to preparing and/or evacuating. Used by over 10,000 counties, cities and towns nationwide, it is the same system used by Buncombe County (Asheville, NC) during Hurricane Helene in the fall.
