Colliers Releases Their Q2 2026 Industrial Report

Colliers recently released their Q2 2026 Industrial Report.  Here’s what you should know.

Charlotte Region –

  • Market fundamentals continue to stabilize. Demand remains healthy with net absorption surpassing 1 million square feet for the second consecutive quarter.
  • Lease activity is across both large-format distribution and mid-sized industrial space. New construction activity increased to 6.1 million square feet underway.

Iredell County –

  • Overall, existing industry growth continues at a strong pace. Companies seeking to locate in Iredell County continue to be primarily from advanced manufacturing and access to electricity being the top consideration.
  • Gaylor Electric expanded operations with a 215,000 square foot lease in Mooresville Business Park East.
  • VICCI, Inc is relocating its Corp HQ and race operations with a 150,000 square foot building purchase in Troutman.
  • SHD Composites, a Cambium company expanded into a 60,000 square foot facility at Overhill Industrial Park in Mooresville.
  • Jackson-Shaw received rezoning approval for its new 4 building 850,000sf LKN Crossing Industrial Park in Mooresville. Construction will begin in 2026.
