Business For Educational Success And Transformation Launches The 2025 Edition Of “Facts & Figures: Education In North Carolina”
Business for Educational Success and Transformation (BEST NC) is a non-profit, non-partisan coalition of business leaders committed to improving North Carolina’s education system through policy and advocacy. For years, education stakeholders from across the state have relied on the accurate, timely, and easily accessible information found in Facts & Figures: Education in North Carolina to make data-driven decisions and develop meaningful solutions to our state’s most pressing education issues. BEST NC has included six new entries on their Spotlight On series to include facts and figures around Chronic Absenteeism, Math 3 Achievement, Midde School Math, TeachNC, The Rising Cost of Teacher Benefits, and School Safety and Discipline. You can download the full 70+ page report which provides facts and figures comparing the state current standings across a number of educational and population factors to previous years. On the site you can also view visual data through their interactive tools across a number of areas.
The 2025 edition of Facts & Figures was developed in partnership with dozens of stakeholders and represents the collected efforts of hundreds of hours of research, reporting, and review. The report was completed through the support of many who champion the programs and policies that improve the lives of students, educators, and school leaders alike.
