Gov. Cooper’s Executive Order 147 Extends Phase II, Adds Mask Requirement
During a press on June 24, 2020 at 3:00 PM, Governor Roy Cooper announced the state will remain in Phase II for another three weeks and making face coverings mandatory in public. Additionally, the Executive Order mandates that people wear face coverings when in public places, indoors or outdoors, when physical distancing of six feet from other people who aren’t in the same household or residence isn’t possible.
