Nine-Month Leadership Development Program – Investing in the Future of Local Businesses and the Community
2025-2026 Leadership Statesville Graduating Class
The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Leadership Statesville program, a premier leadership development experience that has been preparing emerging and established leaders to make a meaningful impact in their organizations and throughout the community since 1988. Applications are open through August 14, with the program beginning August 27th.
Leadership Statesville is designed for professionals from businesses, nonprofits, education, healthcare, government, and other industries who are ready to strengthen their leadership skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges shaping Statesville and Iredell County. Through hands-on experiences, leadership training, and direct access to influential community leaders, participants build the knowledge, confidence, and relationships needed to lead more effectively in today’s evolving workplace.
The nine-month program includes an orientation retreat, seven full-day leadership sessions, a DISC Profile assessment, leadership development in partnership with the Cool Spring Center, and a collaborative community service project that allows participants to apply their skills while making a lasting impact in the community.

Leadership doesn’t happen by chance—it is developed through intentional investment. The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce encourages business owners, executives, human resource professionals, and organizational leaders to identify and sponsor employees with leadership potential for Leadership Statesville.
Those graduating from the program will return to their organizations with greater confidence, broader perspectives, expanded professional networks, and the ability to lead teams, manage change, and take on increased responsibility. Investing in Leadership Statesville is more than supporting an employee’s professional development—it’s building a stronger leadership pipeline for your organization while cultivating future supervisors, managers, and executives who will contribute to your company’s long-term success and the continued growth of the Greater Statesville community.
The 2026–2027 Leadership Statesville program begins with an Orientation on August 27, 2026, followed by monthly sessions through April 2027 and a graduation celebration recognizing participants’ achievements. Program tuition is $1,100 for Chamber members and $1,200 for non-members, which includes leadership assessments, retreat expenses, meals, speakers, transportation, educational materials, and graduation.
