Iredell EDC participated in the second Charlotte Regional Business Alliance Washington, DC Fly-In and meetings with policymakers over two days, June 6 through June 7. Jenn Bosser, President & CEO of Iredell EDC and Chair of the Charlotte Business Alliance’s Economic Development Advisory Council, participated in the delegation, along with Town of Troutman’s Mayor Teross Young and Town of Mooresville’s Mayor Miles Atkins.
“The Alliance did an incredible job putting together this trip,” Bosser shares. “It was impressive to hear policymakers on the hill voice their appreciation for the Charlotte Alliance. It was evident that the Alliance has cultivated strong relationships with our representatives in DC. It was encouraging to hear the expressed interest and efforts of our US Representatives from both the Senate and House and from both parties expressing their aspiration to find bipartisan solutions to address issues. They want to hear the concerns and perspectives from businesses and encouraged us to reach out to them.”
