Iredell EDC Releases Their New Business Resource Guide

Iredell County Economic Development Corporation (Iredell EDC) released the second edition and newly designed Business Resource Guide. The guide which was initially produced and released by Iredell EDC in 2021 has over 100 resources conveniently cataloged based upon where a company is in its lifecycle (new business, growing business) and specific needs of businesses (workforce, assistance navigating regulations, funding). The guide also focuses on resources for businesses owned by veterans, women, and minorities.

The Business Resource Guide is an extension of the Iredell EDC’s existing industry and small business ombudsmen services focused on cultivating the expansion and retention of industry by understanding their collective needs, providing resources, and connecting them to networks.

“Our local and small businesses are significant contributors to our local economy, and their success is very important to us,” said Jenn Bosser, President & CEO of Iredell EDC. “We are focused on disseminating this information broadly to reach all businesses to increase access to individuals who may not be aware of these programs.”

A most valuable resource to businesses throughout Iredell County, the second-generation publication was supported by Iredell EDC’s summer intern Liam Gilland, a third-year Marketing major at Appalachian State University and graduate of Lake Norman High School.

Also, for the first time, Iredell EDC opened the Business Resource Guide for advertising to increase the availability of the guide to businesses throughout Iredell County. In addition to being available digitally at IredellEDC.com/business/existing-industry-support, over 5,000 copies will be distributed throughout the county at partner organizations including; Iredell County, City of Statesville, Town of Mooresville, Town of Troutman, Mitchell Community College, Chambers of Commerce, Downtown Organizations, and Convention and Visitor Bureaus.
