You are invited to join us December 18 from 8:15 – 10:00 AM in the Burlington Room at the Charles Mack Center, 215 N. Main Street, Mooresville for the inaugural meeting of the Iredell Ready Leadership Council.

At this meeting our workforce partners will share highlights from their key initiatives with real examples of how you can be involved in the critical work they are doing to build and reinforce our workforce in Iredell County. The Iredell EDC team will provide an overview of the newly launched Employer Profiles to feature our Iredell Ready Corporate Partners on the Iredell Ready website.

Additionally, you will have a front row seat for a special presentation on The Skills for the Future Pilot. The Skills for The Future Grant is a statewide initiative to cultivate and measure high school students’ durable skills for sustainable post secondary success.  Utilizing the NC Portrait of a Graduate seven durable skills – Collaboration, Adaptability, Communication, Critical Thinking, Empathy, Learner’s Mindset and Personal Responsibility – high school educators across North Carolina are integrating durable skills into their classrooms with a focus on Collaboration.
