Please join us February 13 to hear more about partner initiatives underway across Iredell County focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Industry leaders from the Greater Statesville Chamber’s Education & Workforce Committee will share efforts they are supporting in the Greater Statesville area in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club and our school partners. We  hope to broaden engagement with companies across the county in our joint efforts specifically in near-term STEM initiatives.

Iredell Ready was formed as a consortium to bring together education, industry, and community partners across the community to work together to build our future pipeline of skilled workers. Through this effort we have several partners working on specific initiatives with an intentional focus to build the soft and hard skills that our industries need.

The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce’s Education and Workforce Committee brings together industry and education partners to support workforce development efforts in partnership with Iredell Ready partners. The committee meets monthly. Learn more from Vice Chair Jeffrey Taylor.

The meeting will be held at Mitchell Community College’s Mooresville Campus in the Sara Tice Building, 239 N. Academy Street Mooresville, NC 28115, Room 103 and will start promptly at 9:00 AM and end at 10:00 AM.
