Statesville Regional Airport Terminal Update

Statesville Regional Airport Terminal Building Project is nearing completion, with major milestones now in sight. The final lift of asphalt has been installed in the parking lot, marking one of the last major exterior construction activities.

The project is on track for substantial completion by mid-December. Although metal panels for the lobby and exterior columns have been delayed until early February 2026, this delay will not affect the Certificate of Completion or the building’s readiness for opening.

A plaque unveiling ceremony for City Council is currently scheduled for December 1, 2025, with an official Grand Opening event planned for mid to late January 2026.
