Town of Mooresville to Hold Safety Program for OSHA Safe+Sound Week 2025

Town of Mooresville residents will soon have opportunities to learn more about the importance of safety and health, both in the workplace and at home, during the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Safe + Sound Week 2025, August 11-17.

The Town of Mooresville invites the public to a free safety program on Tuesday, August 12, from 2-4 p.m. at the Charles Mack Citizen Center, Lowrance Room. The event will feature:

• Ladder Safety Demonstration and Hearing Conservation Education
• Fire Extinguisher Training, in partnership with the Mooresville Fire Marshal’s Office

“Safe+Sound week is held nationwide every August,” says Caitlyn McKenzie, risk manager for the Town of Mooresville. “We look forward to sharing a few important safety demonstrations that can help increase attendees’ knowledge of ladder safety, hearing conservation education, and fire extinguisher training. This is a great opportunity to promote a culture of safety and preparedness within our organization and the broader community.”

The event is free and open to the public.
