Global Manufacturer Plans New Investment in Statesville
Statesville – February 3, 2025 – RMC Advanced Technologies, Inc, a subsidiary of NanoXplore, (also known as Project Nano) received approval from the Statesville City Council for an economic development incentive grant. NanoXplore is the world’s largest producer of graphene with a 40% share of the global market. NanoXplore technology, coupled with enhanced material development and in-depth Lean manufacturing practices, gives NanoXplore a competitive advantage in the world composites market. The scope of this project involves securing a new manufacturing footprint for RMC Advanced Technologies, Inc. to compliment an existing NC manufacturing operation. Approximately $21,000,000 will be invested in manufacturing equipment in a leased facility in the form of molding presses, bonding assembly presses equipped with built-in adhesive application robots, prime/paint line and auxiliary plant equipment and supplies. The company plans to create 34 new jobs with an average wage of $60,882.
