EMS Director Eric Morrison Earns Prestigious NC EMS Executive Officer Credential

Iredell County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Director Eric Morrison has successfully earned the North Carolina EMS Executive Officer credential — a distinguished recognition awarded by the North Carolina EMS Administrators Association in partnership with the North Carolina Office of EMS.

This credential represents the highest level of professional development in EMS leadership in the state and is designed to recognize individuals who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, leadership, and commitment to the advancement of emergency medical services in North Carolina.

To achieve this recognition, Morrison has demonstrated a rigorous program of continuous self and professional development that includes advanced coursework in EMS administration, leadership, finance, operations, and policy.

“We are incredibly proud of Eric for reaching this milestone,” shared Iredell County Director of Public Safety Daryl Conley. “This achievement reflects not only his dedication to professional growth but also his commitment to delivering the highest standard of care and leadership to our community.”

The NC EMS Executive Officer credential is part of a tiered professional development pathway that supports EMS leaders in building resilient, innovative, and effective EMS systems across the state. Currently, less than 15 professionals have achieved this credential.
