Iredell EDC Announces New Operations Manager

Iredell County Economic Development Corporation is pleased to announce and welcome Joseph Wiles as Operations Manager. In this role, Wiles will oversee the organization’s operations and financial processes as well as manage board and investor relations, event planning, and day‑to‑day administrative functions.

A native of Statesville, North Carolina, Wiles brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Iredell EDC. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University, Wiles completed his Master of Arts in Executive Leadership at Liberty University. He started his career at Mitchell Community College where he served as Engagement and Annual Giving Coordinator before joining the State Employees’ Credit Union as a Member Services Coordinator. Wiles most recently served as Data Management/Administrative Assistant for Institutional Advancement for Wilkes Community College.
