Leadership Statesville Launches Initiative to Enhance Foundry House Program

Leadership Statesville, a program of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, announces the launch of a new initiative aimed at enhancing the Foundry House program, a vital resource for men seeking recovery from addiction in the community.

The Foundry House, situated in Statesville, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing a supportive environment for men in recovery. Through an 8-month residential program, residents are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to break the cycle of addiction and reintegrate into society successfully. For more information about The Foundry House Program, please visit https://foundryhouse.org/

The initiative spearheaded by the Leadership Statesville Class of 2024 aims to create an inviting outdoor community living space at the Foundry House. This space will serve as a focal point for fostering fellowship and camaraderie among the residents, aiding in their journey towards healing and restoration.

To date, $9600 has been raised towards this initiative, but additional support is needed to complete the project. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to make tax-deductible contributions to the Foundry House to help realize this vision of community support and rehabilitation.

The current needs for the enhancement project include:

  • Outdoor gazebo
  • Outdoor furniture
  • Outdoor heater
  • Outdoor backyard games
  • BBQ tools etc. (we have a BBQ grill)

Please contact Joni Stone with the Chamber of Commerce about item donations, 704-873-2892, Ext. 0.

Donations can be made by writing checks directly to Foundry House and mailing them to The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce at 116 North Center St., Statesville, NC 28677. Online donations are also accepted through the Leadership Statesville webpage at https://www.statesvillechamber.org/leadership-statesville/.
