Statesville Fire Department Receives Multiple Certifications from NC Association of Rescue and EMS
Chief Glenn Kurfees of the Statesville Fire Department is pleased to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive inspection conducted by the North Carolina Association of Rescue and EMS. The inspection has not only resulted in the reaffirmation of existing certifications but has also led to the acquisition of several new certifications, showcasing the department’s commitment to excellence and community safety.
The Statesville Fire Department has undergone successful reinspection of Medical Responder, Heavy Rescue Provider, High Angle Rescue, and Confined Space Rescue certifications, demonstrating the department’s dedication to maintaining high standards of service delivery in these critical areas.
In addition to the reaffirmed certifications, the department has been awarded new certifications in Trench Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, Agriculture Rescue, and Surface Water Rescue. These certifications are a testament to the hard work, training, and professionalism exhibited by every member of the Statesville Fire Department.
