C.R. Onsrud Showcases Live Demonstrations At GlassBuild America
C.R. Onsrud is showcasing live demonstrations and sharing their knowledge as experienced manufacturers of industrial, American-made CNC machinery at GlassBuild America (Dallas, TX, September 30–October 2), which is one of the fastest growing trade shows in the U.S., according to Trade Show Executive (TSE).
“Anyone who’s worked with profile extrusions or pultrusions has faced unique challenges,” says Jeff Onsrud, Director of Sales & Business Development. “We set out to create a machine that addresses all of them.”
The 5-Axis X-Series easily reaches the sides of this extruded aluminum to finish processing the piece quickly and accurately.
The company’s solution, which will be demoed at the show, is the X-Series with its dedicated saw blade, 5-axis high-speed spindle, and specialized clamping system. Able to process 24′ – 65′+ lengths, fabrication shops can cut linear profile extrusions to exact specifications. Additionally, the CNC machine will demonstrate sawing, milling, and slotting in a single setup as well as flow drilling of thin wall extrusions and rigid tapping of thicker wall extrusions. The company also offers the EX-Series for heavy-duty applications.
In addition, the company has machines that trim and drill wood, vinyl, plastic, aluminum sheets, and fiberglass to serve manufacturers of doors and windows for buildings, automobiles, boats, RVs, trailers, the aerospace industry, and more.
