Mooresville Day Festival Returns to Downtown for Second Annual Celebration

After overwhelming success of its inaugural event, Mooresville Day Festival is set to return to Downtown March 23, 2024. The festival, which was initially introduced as part of the Town of Mooresville’s 150th Anniversary Celebration, has now become a cherished tradition for residents and visitors alike.

Taking place from noon-4 p.m. in the heart of Downtown Mooresville, this year’s Mooresville Day Festival promises to be bigger and better. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with fun activities, delicious food, live entertainment, and much more.

“We are thrilled to bring back the Mooresville Day Festival for its second year,” said Arts & Events Manager Christine Patterson. “Last year’s event was a tremendous success, and it was clear that our community embraced the festival wholeheartedly. We received overwhelming support and positive feedback from residents and visitors, which is why we decided to make it an annual tradition to celebrate our town’s birthday, and what makes it so special.”

This year’s festival features family-friendly activities such as amusement rides, carnival games, gem mining, inflatables, train rides, face painting, balloon animals, live performances, and more! An artisan market, with more than 65 vendors, will offer attendees an array of unique handmade items crafted by talented local artisans. And all attendees can embark on a magical journey in the walk-through Adventure to Oz experience, Presented by Sigmon Theatrical.

Festival attendees can indulge in a mouthwatering selection of cuisine from local food trucks and downtown eateries, offering up the very best in culinary delights. Local breweries will also be on-site for beer and wine enthusiasts.

The stage will feature performances by local dance groups and other organizations as well as showcase a School Mascot Dance-Off, where local school mascots compete to see who has the best moves.

A park-and-ride shuttle will be offered throughout the event. The shuttle will pick up attendees at the One Mooresville Center (750 W. Iredell Ave.) and drop off at the Charles Mack Citizen Center (215 N. Main St.). The shuttle will run every 10-15 minutes continuously throughout the event. A parking map, event map, and other information is available on MooresvilleDay.com.

The Town of Mooresville invites you to join them Downtown on Saturday, March 23, 2024, for this family-friendly street fair and immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of community.
