Town Of Mooresville’s LIberty Park Receives the NC Main Street Award For Best Outdoor Space Improvement

The Town of Mooresville’s Liberty Park won an NC Main Street Award for best outdoor space improvement during this week’s NC Main Street Conference in Mooresville.

The awards “highlight innovative projects that enhance preservation efforts, celebrate culture and heritage, and create spaces in our downtowns that gather and build community,” said Kenny Flowers, Assistant Secretary for Rural Economic Development.

On hand to accept the award were Mooresville Mayor Chris Carney, members of Mooresville’s Board of Commissioners, and Mooresville Downtown Commission Director Kim Atkins.
