Auto Supply Manufacturer MacLean Curtis Wins Incentives for $16M Expansion in Mooresville

Automotive supply manufacturer MacLean Curtis appears to be plotting an expansion tied to electric vehicles at its Mooresville facility.

The Iredell County Board of Commissioners on March 19 approved incentives for the company to expand and initiate new driveline component products for EVs. MacLean Curtis, which is a division of MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions, is proposing an investment of $16.35 million to add to its Mooresville plant, county documents show.

The company opened the 96,000-square-foot plant at Mooresville Business Park East in 2016 and employs 135 people there. The expansion would add between 14 and 28 jobs.
